We run all our surgeries by an appointment only system. There are some routine appointments available but the majority of our appointments are available to book on the day. We try to make sure you see the doctor of your choice but if they are not available we may ask you to see another doctor.
If you are too ill to come to the surgery and you require a visit at home, please call the surgery before 10am. Home visits take up much more of a doctor’s time than a consultation in the surgery, so if you are mobile please come into the surgery to be seen. Home visits will only be done on the basis of medical need.

Extra GP appointments now available Now it is even easier for people to make an appointment with a GP, thanks to a new national ‘extended access’ initiative, which means hundreds of extra appointments every week for people living in the local area.
As well as being able to visit your practice, now you can also book into evening and weekend consultations at new hub clinics, where extra appointments are available at a number of locations locally. The extra appointments are being provided by local GP federations, which are made up of local GP practices, so you will be seen by a local GP. Thanks to GP practices working together in a new and different way, this new service means it will be even easier to get the care and advice you need, at a time that’s convenient to you.
As these appointments are provided by local GPs, with your consent, the GP will even be able to access your medical record, giving them access to all the information they need to provide the best possible care, even if your appointment is at a different location.
If you would like more information please just ask at Reception
You can book into this new service by contacting your practice in the usual way.
By having more appointments available, it will be even easier for people to get advice from a GP, when they need it. The initiative will also ensure more people are seen and treated in the community, closer to home.
