You can now request your prescription online. You need to register for this service by going to https://patient.emisaccess.co.uk. Once you have registered and before you can use the service you will need to bring some photographic ID into the surgery.
You can leave your request for a repeat prescription at reception or post it to the surgery. Tick the items you need on the right-hand section of your previous prescription form. Your prescription will be ready for collection 72 hours later. If you prefer, we can post it back to you (you will need to provide a stamped, addressed envelope).
You can now also order your repeat prescriptions by telephone or on the internet via an on-line pharmacy service, Pharmacy2U and get your medication delivered to your door. To do this you will need a reliable daytime delivery address, as the medication arrives by registered mail free of charge and must be signed for. This can be a home or work address. To start enjoying the benefits of this service, register at www.pharmacy2u.co.uk/epms or pick up a registration form at the surgery.
We are keen to ensure that patients with ongoing medical problems are monitored regularly. If the date for your next review with a doctor or nurse has passed you will be asked to make an appointment.
We do not take prescription requests over the telephone.
